CLOSED CAPTION VIEWING SYSTEM AT HOYTS CINEMAS
HOYTS Cinemas introduces the CaptiView Closed Caption Viewing System for hearing impaired movie audiences.
The CaptiView system consists of a small LED display on a bendable support arm that fits into the theatre seat cup holder. The easy to read screen is equipped with a high contrast display that comes with a privacy visor so it can be positioned directly in front of the movie patron at the base of the screen image.
The CaptiView system transmits and receives encrypted closed captions on a wireless bank frequency with an 80 metre signal range. This means CaptiView can be used from any seat in the auditorium at HOYTS.
For group bookings enquiries, please contact the cinema directly.
For more information and details of captioned movies simply log onto the Media Access Australia web page at www.mediaaccess.org.au, Email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or ring their information line on (02) 9212 6242 or (02) 9212 6242 (voice and TTY).
