this was a fun ride, and what an interesting twist for all of these fairy tale characters! the plot is fairly solid, and the characters are all well thought out. This movie stands alone and apart from the Shrek stories. It takes place before he meets the ogre and donkey. it keeps the attention span of the younger child, and it is not too scary for them. entertaining for all ages:)
