Synopsis
Growing up in the public eye, the golden child of celebrity parents would be hard enough for anyone, let alone someone silently struggling with gender identity. At last, a tremendously intimate personal portrait of Chaz Bono and his journey from Chastity to the man he is today. We follow the first year of Chaz’s transition, the hormone injections, the surgery and ‘coming out’ on national television. We see his relationships weather these changes, his girlfriend, his siblings, and yes, his mother, Cher too. Almost disarmingly candid, this is a must see documentary.
