Synopsis
30 years on, arguably the first cinema work of Lesbian speculative fiction resonates as deeply as it ever has. Set in New York City in a future time, ten years after a peaceful, bloodless, democratic revolution, sexual oppression continues to plague the people of America. The Women’s Army mobilise, led by a black lesbian, planning militant action against the authorities to activate an unresponsive, apathetic government.
