Synopsis
The small Eastern European country of Belarus, arguably the last European dictatorship, is preparing to host Slavic Pride, the regions roaming LGBT rights protest. Despite a ban by authorities the brave and passionate people of GayBelarus joining forces with their neighbouring allies to present Belarus' first public gay event, aware they will be confronted by Neo-Nazis, police force and possible imprisonment. From Romania to Poland, Latvia to Estonia, Australian documentarian, Logan Mucha, captures intimate and inspiring portraits of the revolutionaries behind the event, and the thrillingly dangerous day of the march.
