Synopsis
In this excellent ensemble drama, Michael and Daniel have moved from New York City to a bucolic Connecticut town in hopes of living a simpler life. Michael is finding his balance as an out teacher at a private high school when his interactions with a student come into question, setting in motion sinister accusations, a law suit and sensationalist media attention, which not only threatens Michael’s career, but also his relationship. Enter Karen (Julia Ormond), a lesbian civil rights lawyer up for a fight, but her investigations in Michael’s defense uncover information that may have see him in even graver trouble.
