Synopsis

Kat and Vic were once the darlings of the nineties indie rock scene, and after years of party, drugs n rock n’ roll, the band and the friendship has taken a battering. Reunited for a Women in Rock benefit gig, what starts out as a civilized pre-gig dinner, turns into an all-nighter, where past demons flare up, guards are dropped, jamming takes place and dawn reveals the true power a ten year friendship can yield. A fabulous script and stellar performances from two of Canada’s leading actresses, Trigger gives nod to musical heroes like Chrissie Hynde, Courtney Love and Patti Smith and celebrates female connection in a humorous and naturalistic style.
