Synopsis

Vettai is a powerful story of two brothers, Madhavan and Arya who are two opposite poles in character. Their father was a constable but after his demise Madhavan takes on the same duty. Due to lack of bravery, Madhavan find it difficult to fight crime in his town. It is in these times that Arya who is brave, steps up and assists his elder brother. as Arya wins many of his brother's battles with crime, the accolades are showered on Madhavan to an extent that he is promoted as the Inspector of Police. The turning point in the story arises when Madhavan is caught off guard and brutally thrashed by goons. It now become imperative for Arya to build his brother's courage to face his fears and overcome them. This point onwards we see Madhavan stand tall and brave and how he along with Arya tackles the villains who are out to hunt them down forms the story.
