Synopsis

HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) – brilliant women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in History: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that resorted the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanised the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

1 OF 2
A brilliantly told story not only behind the scenes in the space race but handles the prejudices against blacks and women in the 1960's very well. A good cast delivers well.

Brilliant movie !
A very well acted film about three unsung heroes of NASA
I give this 3.5 stars. Brief insight into the unbelievable amount of racism that occurred in the time it was set. Great uplifting film about the empowerment of women in the workforce.
