Synopsis

Kannada  language

“The story was already there. Multiple stories, and all of them real stories. These are real people, real children dealing with real life.” - Prithvi Konanur

Stepping onto the railway soon to become his livelihood, 12 year old runaway Raju encounters the cruel and avaricious gang that lures him, under the pretense of providing a safe haven from the painful past he left behind. Befriending fellow recruit Jollu, the two young boys stalk the station daily, shifting dodgy water and dreaming of a better life, far from understanding the dangers they face. Prithvi Konanur gives an insightful vision of the exploitation countless Indian children experience everyday.
