    1. The Promotion

    • Entry into the ‘Win* access to Disney’s Moana Exclusive Event' (Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Headings in this document are included for ease of reference, and do not affect interpretation in any way.
    • All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the date stated. The promotion commences on 11/06/2026 9:00AM AEST and closes at 14/06/2026 11:59PM AEST (Promotion Period).
    • The Promotion is a game of skill.

    2. Promoter’s Details

    • The Promoter is The HOYTS Corporation Pty Ltd of 680 George St Sydney, NSW, 2000 (Promoter) (ABN 31 006 082 551).
    • The Prize is provided by The Walt Disney Company (Australia) Pty Ltd (“Disney” or “Prize Provider”).  Disney and each of its respective parent, affiliates and subsidiaries are not otherwise responsible for the promotion, administration or execution of this promotion.

    3. Eligibility

    • Entry into the promotion is open only to Australian residents 18 years of age or older, excluding directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, Disney and their respective related bodies corporate.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or who otherwise does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

    4. Entry into the promotion

    • To be eligible to enter, eligible individuals must, during the Promotional Period, complete the following steps:
      • Purchase at least one (1) movie ticket for Disney’s Moana online at hoyts.com.au or via the HOYTS app or in a HOYTS cinema.
      • For clarity the movie ticket can be purchased between 11/06/2026 and 14/06/2026. Complimentary, free or refunded tickets will not be counted as ticket purchases.
      • Visit www.hoyts.com.au/competitions and follow the prompts to the promotion entry page; and fully complete and submit the online entry form with your personal details and booking/ticket reference number. You must include your first name, last name, email address, mobile number and State/Territory of residence, booking or ticket reference number and provide an answer to the question “If you were setting sail on an ocean adventure with Moana, which one character would you bring along, and why?”(“Promotional Response”).
      • One entry per transaction, regardless of number of tickets purchased. Entrants can enter as many times as they like during the promotion period.
      • The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
      • Incorrect or false entry information will void entry into the competition.

    5. The Prize

    • The Promoter is offering Entrants the chance to win a trip for two (2) to Disney’s Moana Exclusive Event in Sydney, Australia. Prize details noted in clause 8(b).
    • The maximum notional value of the prize is $3,225 AUD.
    • The estimate of maximum notional value of the Prize is provided for information purposes only and will vary depending on whether and how it is redeemed by a Prize Winner. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the maximum notional value of each Prize. The Prize value is in Australian Dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
    • The estimate of the maximum notional value of each prize [the Prize] is provided for information purposes only. The maximum notional value of the prize will vary depending on rate or seasonal changes. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation in the maximum notional value of each prize [the Prize].
    • The Prize is awarded and must be redeemed, in accordance with and subject to the Terms and Conditions of Disney if relevant, and any other terms and conditions disclosed at the time of redemption.

    6. Winning Method

    • One (1) winner will be determined by representatives of The HOYTS Corporation Pty Ltd of 680 George St Sydney, NSW, 2000 on 15/06/2026 at 10am AEST. Each entry will be judged based on the individual creative merit of the answer to the Promotional Response. The best valid entries, as determined by the judges, will win the prizes specified above. The judges will select one (1) reserve entry which they determine to be the next best, in case of an invalid entry, ineligible entrant, non-contactable entrant or unclaimed prize. The winner will be determined by skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. The Winner will be contacted via email or phone by 16/06/2026.
    • The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stages does not constitute a waiver those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other competitions from such an offender are reserved.
    • Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
    • If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
    • Entrants must retain their purchase receipt(s)/reference number(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of all of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
    • The decision of the judges is final, binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

    7. Notification of the winner

    • The winner will be notified by email within one (1) business day of the judgment.
    • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 72 hours of notification, the prize may be forfeited, and the reserve entrant will be contacted. This process must be finalised no later than 19/06/2026 to meet attendance deadlines.
    • If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
    • In case of an invalid entry, ineligible entrant, non-contactable entrant or unclaimed prize, the judges will select an additional reserve entry which they determine to be the next best and record them in order. An alternative winner will be determined by the representatives of the HOYTS Sydney Head Office, located at Level 50, 680 George Street Sydney, NSW 2000 on 15/06/2026 at the same time and place as the original judging.

    8. Prize Details

    • The Promoter is not responsible for the manner in which the Prize is redeemed.
    • If the winner is based in Greater Sydney, prize includes:
      • 2 nights’ hotel accommodation in Sydney on June 24, 2026, based on 2 x persons sharing 1 double occupancy room with breakfast, up to the value of $860 AUD.
      • Roundtrip transfers from home (addresses in Greater Sydney only) to hotel accommodation (June 24 – June 26, 2026), up to the value of $500 AUD.
      • 2 x tickets to Disney’s Moana Exclusive Event in Sydney, Australia (June 25, 2026).
    • If the winner is based outside of Greater Sydney, prize includes:
      • Roundtrip flights from winners nearest major airport in Australia to Sydney, Australia (June 24 – June 26, 2026), up to the value of $2,115 AUD.
      • Roundtrip private airport transfers in Sydney, up to the value of $250 AUD.
      • 2 nights’ hotel accommodation in Sydney on June 24, 2026, based on 2 x persons sharing 1 double occupancy room with breakfast, up to the value of $860 AUD.
      • 2 x tickets to Disney’s Moana Exclusive Event in Sydney, Australia (June 25, 2026).
    • Prize Terms and Conditions:
      • Prize inclusions and details are correct as of 11/06/2026 and is subject to change without advance notice.
      • Any and all costs associated with collecting the prize including but not limited to taxes, transport, accommodation, meals, beverages, travel insurance, passports, visas, excess baggage, and items of a personal nature are the sole responsibility of the entrant.
      • The prize or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable, exchangeable or refundable and cannot be taken as cash.  Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. No variations are permitted and prize must be taken in its entirety. Any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited. Once booked, the prize cannot be amended. Where applicable, any modifications to the prize will be at the winner's own expense at the time of booking.
      • Further conditions may apply.
    • Compliance with immigration, health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner.

    9. Other Matters Relating to the Promotion

    • If a Prize or receipt of it incurs a tax liability, the Prize Winner is liable for payment of such tax.
    • Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
    • The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • Subject to State legislation and (if required) the approval of any relevant gaming authorities, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value and the Prize Winner will be notified accordingly.

    10. Privacy

    • By entering this Promotion, each Entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter using the Entrant’s personal information to administer the Promotion and disclosing the Entrant’s personal information to organisations that assist the Promoter with administering the Promotion to third parties as required by law. If the information requested is not provided by the Entrant, the Entrant may not participate in the Promotion. For details about how the Promoter may use your information, and what your rights are under Australian privacy laws, please refer to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.hoyts.com.au/privacy-policy.
    • Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

    11. Liability

    • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under Australian Consumer Law. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter, the Prize Provider, and their respective related bodies corporate (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all:
      • Liability for all direct losses arising in any way out of out of: (i) any technical difficulties, equipment malfunction, any delayed email, any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or any website (whether or not under the Promoter, Prize Provider or their related bodies corporates’ control); (ii) any theft, destruction, unauthorised access or third party interference of entries under this Promotion; (iii) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, Prize Provider or their related bodies corporate; (iv) any tax liability incurred by a Prize Winner or Entrant; or (v) use of a Prize; and
      • Liability for indirect or consequential losses arising in any way out of the Promotion.

    12. Variations

    • If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
    • Any amendments to the competition and/or the terms and conditions, must be approved by relevant State or Territory regulatory authorities.

    13. General

    • Failure by the Promoter to enforce any one of these Terms and Conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Entrant or Prize Winner or other person.
    • These Terms and Conditions may be varied by the Promoter at any time. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for and will not be liable because of any reliance placed on the Terms and Conditions before they were varied.
    • The laws of the State where an Entrant is based apply to this Promotion.
    • The Promoter may communicate or advertise this Promotion using Facebook. However, the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Each entrant completely releases Facebook from any and all liability.

    14. Definitions

    In these Terms and Conditions:

    1. Eligible Entrant is defined in clause 3;
    2. Entrant is as defined in clause 4;
    3. Prize means the prize defined in clause 5(a);
    4. Prize Winner means the winner of a Prize as defined in clause 6(a)
