    Uber | HOYTS Spider-Man: Brand New Day Opening Day Uber One Special Event Screenings – Terms & Conditions

    1. The Uber | HOYTS Spider-Man: Brand New Day Opening Day Uber One Special Event Screenings offer (Offer) is available to eligible Uber One members (Eligible Customers) in Australia and New Zealand during the Promotion Term.
    2. The Offer allows Eligible Customers to purchase tickets to an Uber One Special Event Screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (Film) at participating HOYTS venues. Each valid ticket purchased includes one (1) gift with purchase (GWP), being a Spider-Man themed popcorn container filled with an appropriately sized amount of popcorn.
    3. Eligible Customers may purchase:
      1. AU$12.00 tickets to an Uber One Special Event Screening of the Film at participating HOYTS venues in Australia; and
      2. NZ$12.00 tickets to an Uber One Special Event Screening of the Film at participating HOYTS venues in New Zealand.
    4. There will be one (1) Uber One Special Event Screening of the Film at each participating HOYTS venue across Australia and New Zealand on 30 July 2026 at 6:30pm local time for the relevant cinema. Tickets are limited to the available seating capacity of each Uber One Special Event Screening. Eligible Customers are encouraged to arrive from 6:00pm local time to collect their GWP. For clarity, the relevant screening may appear as “Special Event” on the session times page, and the applicable “Uber One Special Event” ticket will appear on the ticket selection page.
    5. The GWP must be collected at the participating HOYTS venue in connection with the valid Uber One Special Event Screening ticket purchased. Eligible Customers may be required to present their valid ticket or booking confirmation to redeem the GWP. The GWP will be provided together with a serving of popcorn appropriately sized for the merchandise item. Any additional food or beverage items are not included and will incur separate charges payable by the Eligible Customer at the cinema. The GWP is not redeemable for cash, cannot be exchanged for another item, and is not available separately as part of this Offer.
    6. GWP stock is subject to availability and limited to the number of GWPs allocated to each participating HOYTS venue for the Offer. While HOYTS endeavours to maintain adequate stock levels, the GWP is offered on a “while stocks last” basis at each participating HOYTS venue, and HOYTS shall not be liable for any loss or disappointment arising from GWP unavailability, subject to applicable law.
    7. There is a limit of one (1) transaction per Eligible Customer, per day during the Promotion Term, with a maximum of six (6) tickets per transaction.
    8. To claim the Offer, Eligible Customers must:
      1. Log in via their Uber/Uber Eats account to validate their Uber One membership;
      2. Follow the link to the Spider-Man: Brand New Day Opening Day Uber One Special Event screenings offer ticketing page;
      3. Select the relevant 6:30pm local time session marked “Special Event” and, on the ticket selection page, select the applicable “Uber One Special Event” ticket before completing their purchase online; and
      4. Present their digital movie ticket at the cinema.
    9. Purchases made via the HOYTS website may attract a booking fee. Purchases made while inside a participating HOYTS cinema will not attract a booking fee, subject to the Eligible Customer entering the applicable Partner in-cinema code displayed on the session time screens. Any relevant surcharges will apply per ticket.

    11. Tickets are for personal use only by Eligible Customers and cannot be re-sold, transferred or used for commercial purposes. Breaching these terms may result in cancellation without refund.
    12. Advertised pricing applies to standard seating in the applicable “Uber One Special Event” sessions of the Film only. Surcharges may apply for premium experiences including, but not limited to, 3D, Xtremescreen, HOYTS Daybed, HOYTS D-BOX, HOYTS APEX, HOYTS ONYX, LOUNGE, ScreenX and Recliner.
    13. This Offer, including the GWP, is only available for the Uber One Special Event Screenings. For clarity, the GWP is only available where the Eligible Customer selects the applicable “Uber One Special Event” ticket on the ticket selection page. The Offer is not available on any other standard session, Special Event, Girls Night Out, Mates Night, HOYTS LUX, IMAX, film festival or other session advertised by HOYTS as a Special Event.
    14. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, discount, Special Event or group event.
    15. HOYTS Rewards points cannot be used to redeem this Offer.
    16. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, except where required by law.
    17. Tickets are valid only for the selected Film, session, date and cinema booked.
    18. Pricing of HOYTS tickets, including any fees or surcharges listed in these Terms and Conditions, is subject to change.
    19. Pricing of tickets and any fees or surcharges are in AUD for the Australian Offer and NZD for the New Zealand Offer.
    20. The Offer and/or GWP cannot be:
      1. Redeemed for any other food or beverage item;
      2. Redeemed for tickets to any film other than the Film;
      3. Redeemed for any other merchandise;
      4. Used in conjunction with any other offer; or
      5. Replaced, refunded or exchanged if lost, stolen or damaged, except where required by law.
    21. This Offer and the associated Terms and Conditions may be extended, changed, withdrawn or cancelled, subject to applicable law.
    22. Classification rules apply, and ID may be required for entry.

    HOYTS Uber One Popcorn Refills

    1. Eligible Customers who receive a GWP as part of this Offer are eligible to receive free popcorn refills on the same day as their relevant Uber One Special Event Screening, subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy.
    2. To receive a popcorn refill, Eligible Customers must present:
      1. Their valid Uber One membership status in the Uber/Uber Eats app; and
      2. Their GWP, valid movie ticket or booking confirmation, if requested by HOYTS staff.
    3. Eligible Customers are not required to surrender or return the GWP in order to receive a popcorn refill. The GWP will not be refilled directly by HOYTS staff.
    4. Popcorn refills will be supplied in a standard disposable HOYTS popcorn box (Standard Refill Container) of the same or similar size to the popcorn serving originally provided with the GWP. For clarity, the Standard Refill Container is not a merchandise item, collectible item, promotional item or additional GWP. Eligible Customers are responsible for transferring the popcorn into their GWP, if they wish to do so.
    5. Eligible Customers will not receive a new or additional GWP as part of any popcorn refill.
    6. For any additional popcorn refills on the same day, Eligible Customers must return the empty Standard Refill Container supplied with the previous refill to HOYTS staff. HOYTS may refuse to provide an additional refill if the Standard Refill Container is not returned.
    7. Free popcorn refills are not available for the HOYTS Gourmet Popcorn Range or in exchange for any other food and beverage item.
    8. Popcorn refills are provided under the Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy. HOYTS reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion, to refuse to provide a popcorn refill where HOYTS believes the benefit is being abused, is not being used for personal use, or is being unreasonably shared with other groups or people.
    9. Free popcorn refills must be redeemed on the same day as the relevant Uber One Special Event Screening and no later than 30 minutes after the last session of the day has commenced at the relevant HOYTS venue. HOYTS reserves the right not to provide free popcorn refills after this time.

    Appendix A

    Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy

    1. Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy
      The purpose of the Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy is to ensure that all Uber One Members:

      Can access our services and Benefits;

      And do not use our services or Benefits in a manner that we consider unreasonable or unacceptable.

      In addition, the Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy sets out your responsibilities when you use our services and Benefits and confirms the steps we may take to monitor compliance with this policy. The Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy applies to all our services and Benefits.

    2. General
      If you are an Uber One member you may not use the service or Benefit in a manner which is unreasonable or unacceptable.

    3. Unreasonable Use
      We consider your use of the service or Benefit unreasonable if you use it in a manner other than it was intended for. Examples of unreasonable use include:

      Refill your popcorn container an excessive number of times within a 12-hour period 

      Are using the service / Benefit for fraudulent purposes 

      Have abnormal or excessive use of the services / Benefits 

      Are using the Benefits for more than personal use 



    4. Unacceptable Use
      You may not use our services or Benefits in any manner which improperly interferes with another person's use of our services or Benefits or for illegal or unlawful purposes. Examples of unacceptable use include:

      If you provide us with false user information to use the service 

      Contravening any applicable laws when you use the service 

      Infringing any person's intellectual property rights, including copyright, when you use the service 

      If you are using the Benefits for more than personal use 



    5. Monitoring Compliance
      We may from time to time monitor your use of our services and Benefits to ensure you are complying with the terms of this policy. We may need to disclose any findings as required to regulatory authorities.

    6. Breach of the Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy
      If you breach any part of this Uber x HOYTS Fair Go Policy, we may contact you and, if appropriate, ask you to modify your use of the service and/or Benefit. If you do not modify your use, we may suspend or cancel our service to you, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
