A local militant group in Northeast India sends Longsing to recruit members in a remote village, where he meets a schoolteacher who opposes their ideology. Ordered to kill him, Longsing loses faith in the group and abandons it, hoping to start a new life. However, his dream of redemption and a better future is never realized.
