Looking For Me”tells the story of Sertab Bal finding herselfon the path oflife.Sertab Bal, the proof of the following sentence; “Ordinary women’s lives could befun and intriguing enough tobe made into a movie”, is acharacter any woman, or infact,maybe everyone can more or less identify with. Sertab is a young woman whoconstantly changes her ideas on what she wants, doesn’t fit within the one-size-fits-all system, and is in search of identity; she has reached the age of 28 but hasn’tmanaged toestablishan “orderly” life yet. Sertab, who becomes homeless andpenniless after setting her older sister’s house on fire,is deeply hurt when her sistersays, “You’ll amount to nothing!”, and she promises herself that she will showeveryone “what she is capable of doing”. This decision initiates Sertab’s adventurefull of love, heartbreak, success, and failure
